12Go's route page title advertised El Nido to Coron "from PHP 3,009" in Oct 2026. That is a booking-platform figure and may include its booking fee.

A few things the table hides:

Montenegro prices the two directions differently. On Oct 7, 2026 its site showed PHP 3,784 for El Nido to Coron and PHP 3,080 for the return. Its discount rows for El Nido to Coron were PHP 3,027 (student), PHP 2,703 (senior or PWD) and PHP 1,892 (child 3 to 7). The site marks every time "subject to change without prior notice."
Atienza's status is disputed. Its own booking page still listed a daily 12:30 departure in Oct 2026 and asks passengers to be at the port 2 hours early. A maintenance suspension in Aug 2026 was reported by El Nido Map, Oct 2026. Call Atienza's El Nido office before building a plan around it.
Jomalia's posted fare may be out of date. Its website states PHP 2,800; a counter fare of PHP 3,100 was reported by El Nido Map, Oct 2026.
Sailing days rotate. Jomalia sails four days a week under its Jul 20, 2026 advisory. Montenegro sailing on Mon, Tue, Thu and Sun was reported by El Nido Map, Oct 2026 (its rota for August), which would put at least one sailing on every day of the week. Operators add and drop days through the year.
Scheduled is not actual. Arrivals 1 to 1.5 hours after the timetable were reported in 12Go customer reviews, May to Sep 2026. No operator publishes punctuality figures.

Flying from El Nido to Busuanga (Coron)

Cebu Pacific's subsidiary Cebgo took over all AirSWIFT flights on Jul 1, 2026, with flight codes changing from T6 to DG and no schedule changes announced (Philippine News Agency and Cebu Pacific help center, checked Oct 2026). Cebu Pacific lists Coron among the El Nido routes.

One daily nonstop, DG5538, leaving El Nido at 12:20 and landing at Busuanga at 13:00, was reported by Airpaz, Oct 2026. 12Go's route table showed more flight times, with fares of USD 55 to 122 as listed on 12Go in USD, and its departures did not match the Airpaz schedule. Check times and fares with Cebu Pacific. Busuanga Airport sits outside Coron town, so door-to-door time is longer than 40 minutes; airport details belong on Palawan airports.

Expedition boats (3 to 5 days)

These island-hopping trips end in Coron, with nights at beach basecamps. They are sold as tours, and the price covers meals and basecamp nights as well as the boat.

The GetYourGuide listing sets a minimum age of 16 and says groups reach Coron at about 4 to 5 pm on day 3. Tao's booking calendar showed no open departures from Oct 2026 through Mar 2027 when checked. Buhay Isla's posted season rates run to Jul 30, 2026 while its page also lists Oct 2026 departures, so confirm the current price by email.

Fees on arrival

Ferry and flight fares do not include local fees. Coron charges a municipal environmental fee, and El Nido's eco-tourism fee applies to tours there. Expedition listings itemize several of these separately. Amounts, collectors and source quality are on Palawan fees.

Season and weather note

PAGASA divides the Philippine year into a rainy season from June to November and a dry season from December to May. Under Philippine Coast Guard MC 02-23, vessels may not sail, except to take shelter, when Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 or higher is raised at the origin, along the route or at the destination (limited exceptions apply to certain roll-on, roll-off routes).
